The Beijing 2008 K2 1000 silver medallist will make his fourth Olympic appearance in Paris. He is a seven-time world medallist, including three gold. He suffered from PTSD after Rio 2016, where he was tipped to be the champion in K1 1000 but only managed to finish sixth. He sought help and is hoping to fulfil the dream of becoming an Olympic champion in Paris.
